Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) may release the result of Preliminary Qualification Test or Prelims Eligibility Test (PET) soon. Result of the exam UPSSSC official website upsssc.gov.in will be issued on Candidates will be able to download their result from this official website of the commission. The commission will also release the category based cutoff score along with the scorecard of the candidates.

This is the first time that UPSSSC has conducted PET for recruitment to Group C posts. The examination was conducted on August 24 at 2254 examination centers in the state. More than 20 lakh candidates had filled the form for this exam and about 17 lakh appeared in it. The last date for submitting objections to the answer keys of the examination was kept on 7 September. Candidates can calculate their obtained marks with the help of answer key. According to the news, the commission was going to release the results in the second week of October itself, so it is being speculated that the PET results can be released by next week.

Group C recruitment will start after PET results
After the declaration of PET results, the commission will conduct the recruitment to the posts of Group C. Candidates should note that those who do not appear in the PET exam will not be considered eligible to participate in future recruitments to be released by the Commission. Candidates will be called for Main Examination/Skill Test/Physical Efficiency Test on the basis of score obtained in PET Examination.
